Cooking Class: Cavatelli Pasta with Creamy Mushroom Sauce + Tiramisu

$140.00

May 17, 2026 | 2:30pm – 5pm

Includes Dinner + Dessert

Join us at Long Table Farm for a hands-on Italian cooking class with Chef Claire of Cooking With Company —where we’ll make fresh cavatelli pasta from scratch, pair it with a delicious, creamy mushroom sauce, and finish with the ultimate classic: tiramisu.

Why this class is so special

Cavatelli is one of the most rewarding pastas you can learn—simple ingredients, no special equipment required, and a technique that builds real confidence. Once you understand the dough and shaping method, you’ll have a foundation you can use for many other handmade pastas at home.

We’ll pair it with a rich, creamy mushroom sauce that feels restaurant-worthy yet totally approachable, and finish with tiramisu, a perfectly balanced dessert of espresso, cocoa, and creamy layers.

What you’ll learn

  • How to make fresh pasta dough and get the texture just right
  • How to shape cavatelli (techniques you can repeat at home)
  • How to build a creamy mushroom sauce full of flavor
  • How to assemble a classic tiramisu
  • Tips for timing, prepping ahead, and serving everything together

What’s included

  • All ingredients + tools for the class
  • Step-by-step instruction in a fun, supportive environment
  • A beautiful farm setting and shared table experience
  • Dinner at the end of class: your handmade cavatelli + sauce
  • Dessert: tiramisu (Enjoy one at class and an additional tiramisu to take home!)
  • Recipes to take home

Who this class is for

Perfect for beginners through experienced home cooks. If you love pasta, want a hands-on experience, or want to learn a foundational skill you’ll use again and again—this is for you.

Come and enjoy great food and an unforgettable experience!
