Eat with the Seasons with Heart of Willamette (H.o.W.) Cooking School 8/29

This class is a part of a year-long series in partnership with the Lane County Farmers Market that showcases the seasonal bounty of the Willamette Valley. Students will cook alongside Chef Gracie Schatz to showcase peak summer ingredients: Salmon, peppers, tomatoes, melons, peaches and eggplant! We will utilize the wood-fired oven at Long Table Farm to make these ingredients shine. The menu will be developed as class gets closer and availability becomes more clear but we can guarantee you a hyper local, epically flavorful feast!

Class cost is $85 All H.o.W classes are offered on a sliding scale so you may enter what you are able to pay below.

Class Details

Class will be held outside on our farm and in our open outdoor kitchen. Necessary precautions will be in place to ensure appropriate social distancing. Vaccinations are required for this event.  Please indicate in the notes of your order if you have dietary restrictions and/or if you will be taking this class with a friend or family member who you can share a table with.

Price: $85 sliding scale. There is also one free ticket to this class sponsored by Equiano Coffee!

Gracie Schatz

Gracie Schatz owns and operates Heart of Willamette Cooking School. After working for 15 years in the food industry, moving from restaurants to farms, from San Francisco to Italy, she landed in Eugene, Oregon to teach and share her love and passion for food. Her mission is to inspire the community to connect to their food and to each other and to honor, celebrate and share culinary food traditions. Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation up to two weeks prior to your event date will be refunded 100%. Cancellations up to 5 days before your event date will qualify for an online credit to be applied to another class, demo or product. No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations received less than 5 days before your event start date, however, you may always send a friend in your place if you’re unable to attend. If a class needs to be canceled due to a natural disaster, public health crisis, or other act of nature that will prevent the class from being safely completed, then the attendee that made the booking is eligible to collect a full refund or credit for a future class at Long Table Farm.
