Celebrate Mother’s Day with a beautiful and delicious baking experience centered around classic French pastry. This hands-on fruit tart class is a wonderful way to spend meaningful time together while learning foundational pastry techniques in a relaxed, joyful setting.

Under the guidance of Chef Jamie, participants will learn how to create a traditional French fruit tart from start to finish. We’ll make a tender tart dough, prepare a smooth vanilla pastry cream, learn how to make a classic apricot glaze, and learn techniques for cleaning, cutting, and artfully arranging fresh fruit. Participants are encouraged to express their creativity by designing their own tart, with the option to incorporate edible flowers from our farm for an extra-special Mother’s Day touch.

Throughout the class, Chef Jamie will share tips, techniques, recipes and pastry fundamentals that can be easily recreated at home. Each individual or parent-child pairing will complete and take home one fully assembled and decorated fruit tart.

This class is open to individuals or parent-child pairs of any age (children ages 8 and up).
Join on your own or bring a child for a sweet, creative, and memorable Mother’s Day experience together.
